Questions and answers
Straight answers before you get started.
These are the customer questions we expect most often. If you still need help, the contact page shows the monitored Homing Work address.
Does it cost anything to submit a project?
No. Homing Work does not charge customers to submit a project. If you hire a business, you agree on the price and pay that business directly.
How many businesses can contact me?
No more than three matching businesses may receive your contact details for one project. You never have to hire or reply to any of them.
Is my request posted publicly?
No. Homing Work routes the reviewed project to matching local businesses rather than posting it on a public bidding board. No more than three businesses may receive your contact information.
Does Homing Work guarantee the business or its work?
No. Businesses are independent. Ask questions, check documents that matter to your job, compare written estimates, and decide whether a business is right for you.
Can I edit or close my project?
Yes. Sign in to your customer account to manage an editable project, respond when more information is needed, close it, or report a concern.
What happens after I submit?
Homing Work reviews the project for service and area fit. If it can be published, matching businesses see a protected summary and up to three may choose to contact you.
Who handles the estimate, agreement, and payment?
You and the business do. Homing Work introduces the parties but does not perform the work, set the final price, hold project funds, or become part of your service agreement.
